About Me
Hi everyone! My name is Nafiz, and I’m passionate about helping others learn computer science in a way that feels approachable and fun. I know how challenging technical subjects can be, so I always aim to explain concepts clearly and patiently. My goal is to help you build confidence in your skills while making learning an enjoyable experience.
Education
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration at the University of Florida, graduating in Fall 2025. Before UF, I completed my Associate of Arts degree from Palm Beach State College Honors College in 2022. My coursework has focused on software engineering, operating systems, data structures, and cybersecurity.
Teaching Experience
I have informal experience helping classmates and peers with programming assignments, debugging, and understanding core computer science concepts such as algorithms and object-oriented programming. Through my role as a Student IT Assistant at UF, I’ve also developed strong communication skills explaining technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical users — a skill that translates well into teaching and tutoring.
Interests
When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy building side projects, exploring emerging technologies, and contributing to open-source software. Outside of tech, I love running, trying out new food spots, and spending time with my family and friends.
